Christina Kobe Choba Traditional Healing Practitioner

Christina is a Gauteng native and worked as a community healthcare worker before deciding to train as a Traditional Healing Practitioner. She’s worked as a Traditional Healer for over 30 years. When possible, she treats her patients with traditional practices and herbal remedies. She also spends a lot of her time screening patients, referring them to the clinic, and connecting them to social resources. Her challenges include, clinic staff not taking her seriously, lack of continuity for connecting patients to resources, and poor communication between clinicians and Traditional Healers. Christina is passionate about helping people and meeting the needs of her community. She currently lives in Olievenhoutbosch and serves the surrounding community.
